The property has experienced recurring heat and hot water issues throughout 2024, with multiple complaints filed by tenants about building-wide problems, though HPD inspections were frequently unable to gain access to verify the conditions. There have been notable violations and complaints related to building safety systems, including multiple missing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in apartments 6 and 9, as well as gas supply issues affecting stoves in these units, as documented in August 2024 violations.
