The building has experienced several concerning issues in recent years, most notably a cluster of water-related problems in July 2023, including both heavy flow and slow leaks affecting ceilings, as well as paint and plaster issues. These were documented through multiple 311 service requests and Housing Maintenance Code complaints.

In July 2023, inspections revealed several violations in Apartment 10 related to safety systems and maintenance, including issues with doors, water leaks, plaster surfaces, and missing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors - though these violations were subsequently certified as closed by July 26, 2023.
