The building has experienced recurring heat and hot water issues, with multiple documented complaints in recent years, including four separate complaints between late 2024 and early 2025, all requiring emergency response by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

These complaints were particularly concerning as HPD representatives were unable to gain access to units for proper inspection, and while some complaints were designated as duplicates, they indicate an ongoing building-wide problem with heating infrastructure.
