The building has experienced significant maintenance issues in recent months, with multiple complaints and violations emerging between May and July 2025 alone. These issues include problems with plumbing (toilets and radiators), flooring, paint and plaster damages, general cooking gas concerns, and unsanitary conditions involving mold and pests.

HPD inspections in response to these complaints were notably unable to be completed, requiring tenants to submit new service requests if problems persist.
