The three-story, four-unit Old Law Tenement building at 2306 Cambreleng Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood, owned by Nadine Lugo, was constructed in 1931 and has experienced several notable events in recent years. Most significantly, from July to August 2021, the building underwent multiple inspections following service requests that revealed various maintenance issues, including pest infestations, window frame problems, and intercom system failures.

This period also saw the issuance of several Housing Maintenance Code violations related to Apartment 2, including missing safety features such as smoke detectors and window guards, carbon monoxide detector issues, and evidence of a roach infestation.
