The building has shown persistent problems with essential services, including multiple heat/hot water complaints (five incidents in 2025 alone), electrical issues including a power outage and loss of lighting, and unsanitary conditions.

Notably, there were three separate instances in early 2025 where HPD inspectors were unable to gain access to apartments for inspection, including complaints about pests, electrical problems, and garbage recycling storage issues, suggesting potential accessibility or communication challenges within the building. The building's recent history also indicates recurring problems with door-related issues, with two separate complaints filed in July 2024.

HPD was only able to confirm corrections in one of these instances. While the building had a bedbug report in December 2024, the filing period (November 2023 to October 2024) showed no units affected, no eradication efforts, and no subsequent re-infestation.
