3435 Gates Place is a 50-unit, 5-story residential building constructed in 1926, currently owned by Adsvf LLC, located in the Norwood neighborhood of NYC. The building has experienced several significant maintenance issues in recent years, most notably in early 2025 when multiple complaints were filed simultaneously regarding electric problems, mold, wall conditions, outlet issues, window frames, and plumbing problems, all of which HPD was unable to inspect fully. In March-April 2025, there were multiple complaints and violations related to heat and hot water issues affecting the entire building, with at least one instance confirmed by HPD.

The building has also shown consistent rodent activity, with multiple inspections between 2022-2025 indicating ongoing pest control challenges. The property has several documented violations requiring attention, including building-wide mold issues, water leaks, and various repair needs in multiple apartments (e.g., faucet repairs in apartments 53 and E, door/window issues in apartments 47 and 58, and various bathroom maintenance concerns).
