The two-story, three-unit building at 1750 Seward Avenue in Clason Point, owned by Roy Pennant and constructed in 1940, has an ongoing pattern of regulatory noncompliance particularly regarding safety and maintenance requirements. Most notably, there are recurring open violations from 2021 through 2024 related to the failure to file annual bedbug reports, as mandated by Housing Maintenance Code § HMC.

The building also has multiple open violations from 2018 that suggest insufficient attention to safety and regulatory compliance, including failure to properly post inspection certificates, smoke detector requirements, carbon monoxide detector requirements, gas leak procedures, and building registration information in the first-story public hall.
