1250 Morrison Avenue is a 4-story, 29-unit residential building constructed in 1928 and currently owned by John Gojcaj. The building has experienced several significant maintenance issues in recent months, with the most concerning being a **heavy water leak** that has remained unresolved since May 2025, and **water supply** problems reported in March 2025 that are still open. March 2025 was particularly problematic, with multiple complaints about **heat and hot water** issues affecting both individual apartments and the entire building.

While many of these heat/hot water complaints were investigated and closed by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), similar issues have persisted, as evidenced by the subsequent water supply complaint. The building underwent an inspection in November 2024 which revealed several violations in apartment 1E, including issues with pests (mice and roaches), a water leak in the bathroom ceiling, and problems with light fixtures and doors.
