The three-story, three-unit building at 582 Morris Park Avenue in the Van Nest neighborhood, owned by Peter Gdonas, has a documented history of maintenance issues, particularly regarding heat and hot water systems. From late 2019 through 2022, there were multiple complaints (nine in total) about heat and hot water problems affecting the entire building, with the most recent incidents occurring in December 2022.
