3220 Bronx Boulevard is a 3-story, 7-unit brick building constructed in 1920 and currently owned by Gideon Stryker. The building has experienced persistent heating system issues over the past several years, with 10 documented complaints between 2021 and 2023 regarding inadequate heat and hot water, affecting both individual apartments and the entire building.

The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has generally closed these complaints after verifying restoration of service, though some complaints required multiple reports to achieve resolution. In 2022, Apartment 5 was found to have multiple safety and maintenance issues, including defective self-closing doors, non-functional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a roach infestation, though all these violations were certified as corrected by March 2022.

Earlier issues were documented in 2021, including problems with heat and hot water in Apartment 4, as well as some building maintenance concerns regarding window glass and furnace access.
