Currently, the 24-unit, 4-story condominium building at 724 East 221st Street in Williamsbridge, constructed in 2005, is experiencing significant ongoing heat and hot water system challenges. Between late February and April 2025, there were multiple documented complaints (totaling at least 10) regarding heat and hot water deficiencies, both building-wide and in individual apartments.

Many of these complaints have been resolved, with HPD confirming restoration of services, though some resulted in violations being issued. The most recent heat/hot water complaints were logged in late April 2025, with the HPD marking them as emergencies that were subsequently closed. In addition to the recurring heat and hot water issues, there are two active concerns regarding building compliance.
