The three-story, two-family house at 3329 Corsa Avenue in Baychester, owned by Joana Mensah-mitchell, has experienced recurring heat and hot water issues over the past few years. Most recently, in July 2023, there were multiple complaints about inadequate heat and hot water in one of the apartments, with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) issuing violations following their inspection.

These heating system problems appear to be an ongoing concern, as a similar emergency complaint was filed and addressed in February 2022. The building has also experienced problems with electric/gas ranges, with three separate complaints documented between late July 2023.

While HPD inspected these incidents, they did not find violations in two of the cases, though one related to the range appliance did result in a violation.
