The three-story, two-family house at 3350 Bruner Avenue in Baychester, owned by Cecille Chambers, has experienced several maintenance issues since its construction in 2000. The most recent concerns emerged in October 2021, when multiple complaints regarding wall paint/plaster, flooring issues, cabinet problems, and unsanitary conditions (pests) were filed with HPD.

Unfortunately, inspectors were unable to gain access to verify these conditions, resulting in closed complaints that would require new filings for further inspection. The building experienced significant infrastructure issues in September 2018, particularly in Apartment 2 on the third floor, with documented violations including unsafe electrical wiring with exposed wires, broken electrical outlets, and a defective carbon monoxide detector.

These violations were officially documented and included requirements for proper repairs and provision of safe electrical services throughout the apartment. Between September 3-9, 2018, there were multiple emergency complaints regarding cooking gas, power outages, no lighting, and heating/hot water issues, with at least one being classified as an "Immediate Emergency." In November 2020, a heat/hot water issue was reported and confirmed as corrected. A rodent inspection conducted in January 2019 was passed, indicating successful pest control measures following previous complaints.
