The two-family house at 1901 Arnow Avenue in Baychester, owned by Arvinder Singh, has experienced recurring maintenance issues since its construction in 2004. Most notably, there has been an ongoing pattern of heating and hot water problems, with multiple emergency complaints documented throughout 2024 and into 2025.

Between February 2024 and February 2025, the building experienced at least five separate incidents involving heating and hot water complaints affecting either the entire building or individual apartments, with multiple instances where HPD could not gain access to inspect the conditions.
