The 16-unit, 4-story building at 873 East 228th Street in Wakefield, owned by Tucker Shane, was completed in 2022 and has experienced several notable issues since its construction. Most recently, in April 2025, there are three open complaints with the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) regarding electrical lighting and flooring issues, all marked as non-emergency situations.

Prior to these, in March 2025, there was a ventilation-related indoor air quality complaint that was closed with an advisory to the owner.
