192 Degraw Street is a 4-story, 60-unit Old Law Tenement building constructed in 1928, currently owned by Erik Roth. The building has experienced several maintenance issues in recent years, with the most significant cluster of complaints occurring in 2021. During that year, there were multiple reports of heating and hot water problems affecting the entire building, unsanitary conditions including pest infestations, and various infrastructure concerns such as issues with stairs, flooring, and walls.

These complaints, filed through both 311 and Housing Maintenance Code channels, were generally investigated by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) with no violations ultimately issued. More recent developments include active Department of Buildings (DOB) complaints regarding facade issues under Local Law 11/98 (Unsafe Notification) from November 2024, and multiple violations related to External Low Pressure Inspection filings from 2023 that remain active.
