357 Court Street is a 4-story, 3-unit Old Law Tenement building constructed in 1931 in Carroll Gardens, currently owned by Christopher Merone. The building has experienced significant maintenance and access issues over the past two years, particularly between late 2023 and early 2025.

Most notably, in late 2024, there were multiple emergency complaints regarding heating and plumbing systems, including a building-wide heat/hot water issue in February 2024 and radiator problems in January 2024. During this period, several inspection attempts by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) were unsuccessful due to access issues, including inspections related to window panes, window frames, and various other building systems.
