Most recently, in January 2024, there were multiple complaints about heat and hot water issues affecting the entire building, and rodent-related concerns have persisted, with a January 2024 complaint about conditions attracting rodents that could not be inspected.

The building has a notable history of pest problems, with several violations documented in 2023-2024, including a November 2023 Housing Maintenance Code violation for unsanitary conditions related to pests. Prior to this, there were multiple rodent sightings between 2022-2023, with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene conducting several inspections, some of which found violations. The building has also faced challenges with building systems and safety compliance, including a documented violation for missing electrical outlet safety covers in public hallways (2020), and three separate open violations from 2020 regarding missing safety signs and electrical covers.
