The 8-story, 415-unit residential building at 1089 President Street in Crown Heights, owned by Ryan Webler, was completed in 2019 and has experienced several notable maintenance issues since its opening. Most recently, in March 2025, the building faced multiple complaints requiring HPD intervention, including problems with walls (paint/plaster), doors, heat/hot water (affecting the entire building), and an electric/gas range appliance. Violations were issued for the wall and door issues, while HPD was unable to gain access for inspection regarding the heat/hot water complaint.

Additionally, there have been persistent pest (unsanitary condition) concerns, with reports in March 2025 and December 2024, though a December 2024 inspection found no violations.
