Most notably, between November 2023 and January 2024, there were multiple emergency complaints regarding lack of heat and hot water, with HPD responding to five separate incidents involving the entire building. While some of these issues were reported as resolved, there was at least one instance (January 2024) where inspectors were unable to gain access to verify conditions.
