The building has experienced several significant maintenance and safety issues in recent years, particularly regarding entry systems and water temperature controls. In 2024-2025, there were multiple complaints and violations related to doors, windows, and intercom systems, with six separate complaints about door/window issues and two about bell/buzzer/intercom problems in 2025 alone.

Three violations were issued in December 2024, while two complaints about window frames and doors from March 2025 resulted in closed cases due to lack of access for inspection. The building has also faced challenges with water temperature control, with violations recorded in both apartments 1A and 4A regarding excessively hot water above 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
