The three-unit, three-story tenement building at 100 Hall Street in Clinton Hill, owned by Jensie Galloway, has experienced several significant maintenance issues in recent months. Most notably, in February 2024, the building faced multiple heat and hot water complaints, with seven separate emergency service requests made through 311, all related to building-wide conditions. Inspections by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) during this period resulted in several class C violations, particularly affecting the heating and hot water systems, with specific issues noted in both apartment 1 (first floor) and apartment 2 (second floor).

Additionally, there were problems with cooking gas supply in both apartments, as well as various door-related violations regarding self-closing mechanisms in both unit and common areas. The building's maintenance record also includes more serious structural concerns, as evidenced by an active Environmental Control Board violation from December 2020 regarding disrepair of the front steps, with exposed rebar and cracking identified during inspection.
