493 Washington Avenue is a historic four-story, 13-unit New Law tenement building located in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, and owned by The Walker 2007 Trust. Built in 1800, this property has experienced several maintenance and compliance issues over recent years, with the most significant cluster of problems occurring in May 2022. During this period, multiple complaints were filed regarding various building systems including plumbing (bathtubs, showers, toilets), door and window conditions, flooring, and ceiling issues.
