The 31-story, 414-unit residential building on Commercial Street in Greenpoint, owned by Linda Early and completed in 2019, has experienced several maintenance and safety issues since its construction. Most recently, in early 2025, the building faced multiple complaints regarding heat and hot water problems throughout the entire building, electrical wiring issues, water leak concerns, and ceiling paint/plaster problems, though inspections showed these did not violate housing laws. In late 2024, Apartment 18P was found to have mold issues, water leaks, and ventilation problems, though these violations were subsequently closed in October 2024.

The building's construction phase (2021-2022) was marked by significant safety concerns and violations, including multiple instances of site conditions endangering workers, with several stop work orders issued. There were also environmental control board violations related to construction safety, including incidents involving worker injuries and unsafe scaffold conditions. While more recent reports show no current infestations, the building has had documented bedbug activity in previous years (2021-2023).

Two rodent activity inspections in late 2024/early 2025 indicated ongoing pest management challenges. The building has generally met bedbug reporting requirements, with the most recent report (December 2024) showing no active infestations. Earlier violations related to bedbug reporting and building entry notifications were resolved, and there were no fines imposed for recent Energy Efficiency violations. Several permits were issued in 2021-2022 for various construction and equipment work, suggesting ongoing maintenance and system updates since the building's completion.
