151 Green Street is a 5-story, 8-unit residential building constructed in 2009 in Greenpoint, currently owned by Paul Markowski. The building has experienced several notable incidents primarily related to elevator safety and building maintenance over the past few years.

Most recently, in April 2021, there were issues regarding elevator safety signs and access, resulting in an Environmental Control Board violation requiring the installation of fire safety signs and proper identification of elevator facilities. The building's elevator system has been a recurring focus of attention, with multiple violations and complaints between 2019-2021, including a failure to file the required Category 1 inspection/test in 2019, and a complaint about multiple devices on the property in April 2021.
