The three-story, six-unit New Law Tenement building at 295 Schaefer Street in Bushwick, owned by Ana Maria Sierra, has experienced several significant maintenance issues over the past few years. Most notably, there have been recurring problems with mold, particularly in July 2019 when multiple emergency complaints were filed regarding unsanitary conditions.
