The two-family residence at 138 Moffat Street in Bushwick, owned by Michelle Jones, has experienced several recurring maintenance issues over the past two years, with the most concerning being a cluster of heating and hot water complaints in late 2024 and early 2025. Between October 2024 and March 2025, there were at least five separate complaints regarding heating and hot water issues, most of which resulted in the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) being unable to access the units for inspection. Additionally, there were documented problems with indoor air quality and ceiling paint/plaster in March 2025.
