The two-story, four-unit New Law Tenement at 76 De Sales Place in Bushwick, owned by Brooklyn Townhouse Property Owner LLC, has experienced several concerning maintenance issues over the past few years, particularly in late 2024 and early 2025. Most notably, between November 2024 and January 2025, there were multiple reports of electrical problems including outages, lighting issues, and outlet problems, as well as safety concerns related to smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

During this same period, there was also a report of mold, which was classified as an unsanitary condition.
