The building has recurring heating and hot water problems, with multiple emergency complaints recorded between 2020 and 2025, affecting both individual apartments and the entire building.

More recently, in May 2025, there were two complaints regarding unsanitary conditions and pest issues, though HPD inspectors were unable to gain access to investigate these claims. The building also has documented structural and maintenance concerns, particularly in Apartment 2A on the second story, with open violations issued in September 2024 related to water leaks, plaster damage, and defective fixtures.
