577 Pennsylvania Avenue is a two-story, three-unit converted dwelling built in 1920, currently owned by Jason Sucre and located in East New York. The building has experienced recurring issues with compliance regarding bedbug reporting requirements, as evidenced by four consecutive open violations from 2021 through 2024, all related to the failure to file annual bedbug reports as mandated by Housing Maintenance Code § HMC.

More recently, the building had a heat and hot water emergency complaint in December 2020 that resulted in HPD being unable to gain access to inspect the reported issues. In terms of building infrastructure and safety, three Environmental Control Board violations were issued to the Department of Education in March 2021, all of which were subsequently resolved.
