The most recent incident occurred in November 2023, where HPD was unable to access the building for inspection, following a pattern established by similar complaints in 2022 and multiple instances in 2021.

During 2021, there were at least four separate complaints regarding inadequate heat or hot water, though some acomplaints were able to be inspected without resulting violations, and one incident involved excessively hot water exceeding 130 degrees in apartment 2F. The building has also faced several maintenance and safety concerns, most notably in early 2023, when violations were recorded for fire egress issues and self-closing door problems in apartment 2R.

Other documented violations include inadequate public hall lighting, garbage receptacle issues, pest infestations (specifically roaches in public areas), and various door-related problems throughout 2021. While the building has maintained an active bedbug reporting compliance record with no reported infestations in recent years, with the most recent reports (2023-2024) showing zero infested units, the persistent heat and maintenance issues suggest ongoing challenges with building infrastructure and resident comfort.
