10 Avenue C, Brooklyn, NY 11218
The two-story, three-unit residential building at 10 Avenue C in Kensington, owned by Mohammed Sarker, has experienced some recent maintenance issues relating to wall conditions. Most notably, in April 2025, a complaint was filed regarding paint/plaster issues on the walls of the property.
The Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) department attempted to inspect the reported conditions in May 2025, but inspectors were unable to gain access to the building. Following the failed inspection attempt, HPD left a card at the property and subsequently sent a letter encouraging the owner to schedule a new inspection.
However, the department did not receive a timely response to their communication, leading to the eventual closure of the complaint in June 2025. The property, which was built in 1899 and later converted to Class A status, has had minimal documented issues in the past except for this recent incident.
