The three-story, six-unit New Law Tenement building at 1360 66th Street in Dyker Heights, owned by 136o 66 Street Corp., has experienced several significant infrastructure issues over the past five years. Most recently, in late November 2023, there was a power outage affecting the entire building, though no violations were cited following the HPD inspection.

Prior to that, the building faced plumbing water supply issues in May 2022 (resolved in June) and a complete heat and hot water outage in March 2019, both of which were classified as emergencies but had been resolved by the time of inspection. The building had two Administrative violations in 2021 and 2022 related to the required annual bedbug reporting, though these were closed without penalty.

Importantly, the building has maintained an excellent record regarding bedbug infestations, with all four annual bedbug reports from 2022 through 2025 showing zero infestations, zero eradications, and zero re-infested units.
