The building has recently experienced several concerning infrastructure issues, particularly in early 2025, with multiple heat/hot water and water supply complaints recorded through HPD. Between January and March 2025, there were at least three instances of heat/hot water problems affecting either the entire building or individual apartments, as well as two plumbing complaints regarding water supply issues.

The building's safety systems were addressed during a May 2023 inspection, which found multiple violations in apartment 2J related to smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector functionality, as well as issues with plastered surfaces and security features. Historical records show ongoing maintenance challenges, including a serious elevator issue in 2021 that resulted in an ECB violation due to defective machine brake components, though this was resolved with a $1,250 penalty.
