2436 Nostrand Avenue is a 3-story, 5-unit New Law Tenement building located in Midwood, constructed in 1931 and currently owned by Cazo Marinovic. The building has experienced recurring heating system issues throughout 2025, with multiple complaints about heat and hot water problems between January and March 2025, totaling ten separate incidents.

While many of these complaints were resolved upon follow-up inspections or phone confirmation from tenants, the pattern of complaints indicates ongoing HVAC maintenance challenges. More recently, in March 2025, there were additional complaints about radiator issues and heat/hot water problems, though HPD inspectors were unable to gain access to conduct proper investigations.
