The 10-unit, 4-story building at 33-29 103rd Street in Jackson Heights, owned by K J Unternational Llc, has been in operation since 2019 and has experienced several notable maintenance and compliance issues. Most recently, in 2025, there were three separate complaints regarding smoking or vaping in smoke-free areas, all of which were handled by the NYC Health Department and are now closed.

More concerning are the three active violations related to failure to file required external low-pressure inspections in 2022, 2023, and most recently in September 2024.
