The three-story, 6-unit tenement building at 54-16 Flushing Avenue in Maspeth, owned by Czeslaw Sawicki and constructed in 1930, has experienced recurring heating and hot water system issues in recent years. Most recently, in January 2025, there was a building-wide heat and hot water outage that was temporarily resolved during an HPD inspection.
