The 66-unit, 6-story building at 65-60 Wetherole Street in Rego Park, owned by Maryann Buren, has been in operation since 1947 and has experienced several maintenance issues over the years. Most recently, in December 2023, there was a heat/hot water complaint that was inspected by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) with no violations found.
