The 6-unit, 3-story New Law Tenement building at 10-03 Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood, built in 1931 and owned by Anthony Milohnic, has experienced significant ongoing maintenance issues in recent years. Most notably, there have been recurring problems with the building's heat and hot water systems, with multiple emergency complaints filed between June and July 2023, all of which resulted in violations being issued by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). Additionally, in June 2023, the building was found to have mold issues and received a plumbing violation related to water supply, though some other complaints from this period, including those regarding paint/plaster issues, did not result in violations.

In 2022, there were violations related to door/window issues in July and August. More concerning are the structural and safety compliance issues documented in 2024-2025. The building has been under structural monitoring as of June 2025, and a September 2024 complaint regarding building shaking/vibration triggered an Oath Violation.

While there was a violation related to an erected shed that was subsequently dismissed, and one from June 2025 regarding a facade issue that remains active, this pattern of complaints suggests ongoing maintenance challenges.
