The two-story, three-unit tenement building at 132-63 Maple Avenue in Flushing, constructed in 1930 and currently owned by Cai Hua Lu, has experienced several notable issues over recent years. In September 2018, the property faced multiple complaints encompassing various maintenance and safety concerns, including unsanitary conditions (pests and mold), problems with windows and frames, appliance issues (electric/gas range), electrical wiring concerns, plumbing problems (toilet), flooring issues, and safety matters related to carbon monoxide detectors and cooking gas systems.
