The 11-story residential building at 133-20 Avery Avenue in Flushing, owned by Jing Ye and constructed in 2008, has experienced several significant maintenance and compliance issues over recent years. During 2020, the building faced multiple heat and hot water emergencies, with complaints recorded in May, June, and December of that year. Additionally, there were concerns about electrical lighting, signage, and various plumbing issues, some of which required emergency responses from the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).
