This 113-unit, 6-story residential building in Flushing, owned by Edward Kalikow and constructed in 1973, has experienced several significant maintenance and safety issues since late 2024. Most notably, there are multiple open housing maintenance code violations in apartment 512, including problems with mold, a mouse infestation, and various repair needs such as defective smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, wall and cabinet repairs, and bathroom fixture issues. The building has also experienced persistent rodent problems, with multiple 311 complaints and DOHMH inspections showing rodent activity from late 2024 through 2025, despite regular bait applications.

Recent construction-related issues have raised serious concerns about building safety.
