The two-family house at 47-12 213th Street in Bayside, owned by Athanasios Giorgiades, has experienced several notable events since its construction in 1950. Most significantly, in 2019, there were multiple safety-related complaints and violations, including issues with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and sprinklers that were investigated by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), though no violations were ultimately issued for these safety concerns.
