This two-family house at 131-15 Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill, owned by Steven Gatto, is a two-story building constructed in 1910. The property has experienced several significant issues over the past few years, particularly during 2022, when multiple housing maintenance complaints were documented, including problems with electrical systems (wiring and lighting), unsanitary conditions (pests and mold), water leaks, heating systems, flooring, ceiling damage, and appliance issues (refrigerator).

While these complaints were investigated by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, no violations were found in any of the inspected conditions, except for one heat/hot water complaint where inspectors were unable to gain access to the apartments. More recently, the building has active violations related to the failure to file required external low-pressure inspections for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, issued in June 2023.
