The three-story, three-unit building at 101-12 101st Avenue in Ozone Park, owned by Jerome Simmons, has experienced recurring heat and hot water issues since its construction in 2005. Most notably, between January and March 2022, there were multiple complaints about inadequate heat and hot water affecting both the entire building and individual apartments, with emergency housing maintenance code complaints filed on each occasion.
