The two-story, four-unit residential building at 103-08 Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park, owned by Amad Mirza and constructed in 1920, has experienced several maintenance issues over the past two years, with the most recent cluster of problems occurring in May 2024. During this period, multiple complaints regarding plumbing (basin/sink), window frames, and wall conditions were filed, though Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) was unable to gain access for inspections. In early 2024, there was an emergency heat/hot water complaint that was verified as corrected, and in December 2023, the building experienced multiple electrical issues including two power outage incidents and problems with lighting, though no violations were issued following HPD inspections of these incidents.
