The 10-45 Beach 21st Street building in Far Rockaway, a 10-story, 224-unit Class A structure built in 2020 and owned by Janel Burke, has experienced several recurring concerns primarily related to elevator safety and compliance issues. Most notably, there have been three complaints about "Multiple Devices on Property" related to the elevator system between 2023 and 2025, with the most recent complaint still currently active as of May 2025. In 2024, there was a significant complaint regarding a missing or illegal Certificate of Occupancy, though an inspector was unable to gain access on the first attempt.

The building has also faced recurring safety-related issues, including a damaged or inadequate safety net/guard rail complaint in February 2023, which resulted in no violations being found at the time of inspection. Earlier in its history, the building went through typical post-construction regulatory scrutiny, with multiple construction-related complaints and violations between 2020-2021.
