The 2-family house at 2658 Amboy Road in New Dorp, owned by Angela Direnzo, has experienced several maintenance and safety issues over the past two years. Most recently, in February 2025, there were multiple complaints regarding the building's heat and hot water systems, missing signage, and unsanitary garbage/recycling storage conditions.

While the property has a history of maintenance concerns, it's worth noting that there have been no documented bedbug infestations in the past two reporting periods (2021-2022 to 2022-2023), with all units marked as free of infestation, eradication, or re-infestation issues. The building, constructed in 1949, consists of two stories and contains four units, and is categorized as a "2 FAMILY HOUSE" under building classification.
