The three-story, two-family house at 85 Robinson Avenue in Eltingville, owned by Jean Giammarino and built in 1990, has experienced two notable heating system incidents over the past several years.

Most recently, in January 2021, the entire building faced a heat and hot water emergency that was promptly investigated and resolved within 24 hours, with HPD verifying the correction of the reported issues.

Prior to this, in December 2019, there was a similar heat and hot water complaint, though in this instance the HPD was unable to gain access to the apartment(s) for inspection, resulting in an unresolved status at the time, though the complaint was eventually closed within two days.
